Create a New Account
WebHost Manager helps you to quickly addd new accounts - All you need to do is simply fill in the fields to specify the account details. Using packages will speed up this process considerablt - refer to the packages section for more information.
Note: The CPanel/WebHost Manager package does not support domains or usernames that start with numbers. Do not creat accounts that start with numbers simply because you will not be able to use some of the functions on these accounts.
Ok, once you click on Create a New Account note that at the bottem you can use the dropdown list to choose a redefined Package.THIS WILL BE YOUR TIME SAVER!! Because once you have created packages using this feature will automatically fill in many of these fields.
Simple stuff here:
Insert domain name, user name and password in the proper fields.
Keep in mind also that the user name field is automatically filled with the first eight letters of the domain name. You can change this but you can only use 8 characters. CPanel/WHM does not support domain names and user names that begin with numbers.
In the Quota field enter in the disk space quota. If you want 1 gb enter 1000 (1000 mb = 1 gb) Simple stuff!
Check the box if it is an IP account. Keep in mind the Drop down menu at the bottem can be used if they were created earlier.
Check CGI access and Frontpage extensions as it applies.
Enter maximum items allowed in these fields.
Select a CPanel skin.
once complete go ahead and click complete.
The WHM will create an output text which you can copy andpaste into an email to the account holder for whom this account was created for.
